Observed court proceedings on nullity, annulment, legal separation and support. Prepared corresponding drafts of court decisions.

ATENEO CLINICAL LEGAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

Represented Saturnino and Armand Padilla before the labor arbiter regarding their illegal dismissal claim. Drafted necessary documents for Princess Bello (represented by her father, Armando Bello) in the administrative case against her former teacher and principal. Prepared memoranda on queries of clients.

 

April – May 2009

VILLARAZA CRUZ MARCELO & ANGANGCO LAW OFFICES

Drafted pleadings for the clients of CVC Law Office, applying knowledge of civil, criminal and remedial laws. Joined the lawyers in hearings before the court and the IPO. Prepared memoranda on queries of clients. Awarded as the best intern that summer.

 

COMPETENCE AND SKILLS ENHANCEMENT ACTIVITIES 2010 – 2011

PRESIDENT, ATENEO SOCIETY OF INTERNATIONAL LAW (ASIL)

Administered the Society- from recruitment of new members to selection of teams to represent Ateneo in the different moot court competitions. Emphasized the ASIL mantra “One Team. One Dream.” through various projects, not necessarily moot-related (e.g. Bar Operations, ASIL After Midterms Party, ASIL Merchandise Project).

 

2008 – 2011

INTERN, ATENEO HUMAN RIGHTS CENTER (AHRC)

Conducted para-legal trainings on IPRA and the automated elections. Represented LENTE-Ateneo Chapter in La Union. Facilitated tie-ups between ASIL and AHRC (i.e. AHRC Moot Court Competition and Pretoria World Human Rights Moot Court Competition).

Helped organize the 1st Ateneo Law Golf Tournament. Attended to the needs of the barristers by buying their food.

PILL FOR PILL: LEGALITY OF A RETROACTIVE APPLICATION OF THE UNIVERSALLY ACCESSIBLE CHEAPER AND QUALITY MEDICINES ACT AMENDMENTS TO SECTIONS 22 AND 26 OF THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CODE

Thesis paper on strengthening the pharmaceutical patent system in light of the right to public health, applying the Constitution as well as international, civil and intellectual property laws.

MEMORIAL, ELSA MOOT COURT COMPETITION ON WTO LAW (Taipei, Taiwan)

Argued for the respondent side in the Case Concerning Measures Relating to Biofuels made from Pine Cones between Forestland and Ecoland. The team ranked 5th in the Asian Rounds.

FRUZE LIQUEUR ICE CREAM, STRATEGY FORMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION

Considered as thesis paper for graduating students of JGSOM. Marketed Fruze in bazaars and handled the accounts of the company.

 

August 2006

DAIRY QUEEN RE-ENTRY STRATEGY, NATIONAL STRATEGIC MARKETING COMPETITION

Finalist in the Stratmark competition sponsored by the Philippine Marketing Association. Prepared a marketing campaign using print medium like newspapers and broadcast medium like television.

Born on May 8, 1987 in San Fernando City, La Union. Fluent in English and Filipino. Familiar with MICROSOFT WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT and HTML. Interests include foods, travels, running, and tennis. Skills include organizing, coordinating, and time management. Tries hard not to forget the Spanish, French and Chinese languages by watching movies with subtitles and listening to songs of “local” artists.
