1.        Francisco vs. De Venecia, G. R. No 160261 Petition for Certiorari and Injunction
granted by the court enjoining the House of Representative from proceeding with the
Impeachment Proceedings  against. Chief Justice Hilario Davide III.

2.        People vs. Espinosa, G. R. No.153714-20 The Court sustained the acquittal of Vice-
Governor Mario K. Espinosa for violation of the Anti-graft law on the ground that an alleged
waiver of the constitutionally guaranteed right against double jeopardy must be clear and
unequivocal, thus putting a halt to the practice of the Sandiganbayan in requiring
“conditional pleas”  from the Accused .

3.        Pimentel vs. Office of the Excecutive Secretary, G. R. No. 158088, pending Petition for
Certiorari arguing that the Executive has a ministerial duty to transmit the signed Rome
Statute Creating the International Court to the Senate of the Philippines for the latter’s
concurrence.

4.        Isabelita Vinuya, et al., vs. The Honorable Executive Secretary G. R. No. 162230,
pending Petition for Certiorari to compel the Executive to sponsor the claims of Filipina
sexual slaves during World War II  for compensation before an International Tribunal.
